February 25, 2010: Tech-to-Tech Network Session

We've never tried this before, but several of you suggested that this would be a worthwhile undertaking. The idea is to get our tech people togehter in the same room so that they can share their considerable knowledge with each other. Format will be loosely defined around the following areas of interest:
  • LAN design and operation
  • Security - for Users and Resources
  • Data archiving
  • Coping with new technologies: smartphones, social networking sites, etc.
  • ???
Perhaps we'll start in one group, break into working groups around the topics above, and then re-convene to share thoughts at the end.
